Carrie Underwood's former Brentwood mansion is located in a gated golf-course community in Brentwood, Tennessee. The suburb of Nashville is home to several other musicians, including country stars Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton, and pop star Kesha.
From the "Cry Pretty" singer's Italian style mansion, there are stunning views of the Brentwood pond and its many rolling hills. As we'll soon see, Underwood's home has specific areas for enjoying the view. Hey, what else would you expect from a celebrity home?

In terms of architectural style, Carrie Underwood's former Brentwood mansion is a contemporary, transitional home. Essentially, transitional style properties combine elements of classic architecture with a contemporary twist. The result should be seamless — with light, warmth, and neutral colors.
As we can see in this image, the outside of the "Two Black Cadillacs" singer's home has a painted brick and stone façade, in various shades of gray. Shrubbery trimmed in a topiary style line the front of the home, and a large driveway leads up to several garages.

Welcome to the meat-free kitchen of Carrie Underwood's former home. The "Hallelujah" singer is an animal lover and stopped eating meat when she was 13 because she didn't like the idea of eating one of her own pets.
The performer now enjoys cooking veggies for her family. Some of her favorite meals are vegan quesadillas with beans and salsa, and Raw Revolution bars made with fruit and nuts.

We've already had a sneak peak of the "Church Bells" country singer's formal dining room, but this snap shows the room in all its glory. In this room, the furnishings are neoclassical, and a stately rug radiates even more formality. This room is far from intimidating, though — it remains warm and welcoming.
It's hard to believe that this home used to belong to someone who decided to give up on singing after high school. Thank goodness she didn't!
Gather by the Fire
As you may have noticed already, this embroidered, rounded couch takes pride of place in the cozy sitting room area of Carrie Underwood's former home. Sitting opposite a mounted flat-screen TV, the wood-trim, scalloped couch is close enough to pick up some of that heat from the brick fireplace.
This room has views of the golf course, and long curtains for movie nights. As it turns out, Carrie Underwood loves horror movies, and her favorites include Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street.
Bathtub Fit for a Spa
Just take a look at this absolutely spectacular jetted bathtub, which takes pride of place in Carrie Underwood's huge master bathroom. The room is tiled, with dark wood furnishings, and could be straight out of a luxury hotel or spa. We want to take a bubble bath in there!
Hopefully, the "Southbound" singer has taken some time to relax and unwind in this bath because she has an extremely full schedule. Underwood even has a tour trainer so she doesn't fall behind on workouts.
Work Hard, Rest Hard

Considering her love of sports and exercise, it makes sense that the singer needs a large and luxurious space to be able to unwind. As well as taking a trainer on tour, the "Home Sweet Home" singer brings a mobile gym in a trailer!
The gym has a treadmill, an elliptical, various weight machines, and free weights. It's a shame she can't bring her bathtub, too!

Though there's no sign of them in these polished pictures, Carrie Underwood does have two pets — dogs Ace and Penny Jean. Both of Underwood's pups were rescued, and they join the artist when she's on tour. She has said, "I can't imagine life without them."
Beautiful Blue Tones
Here's another one of Carrie Underwood's gorgeous guest suites, this one with a fabulous window bench that's perfect for reading. While the previous guest suite was decorated with red hues, this one has a soft blue color palette. As with other rooms in the property, this staggered ceiling adds a wonderful dimension to the space.
Though we can't spot any in these pristine pictures, Underwood does collect antique trunks. Perhaps that's what inspired her to purchase this distressed wood bed frame.
Elegant Guest Bathrooms
Of course, guests to Carrie Underwood's former Tennessee mansion had access to their own half-bathrooms. In these rooms, stone countertops sit on wooden cabinets, continuing the earthy yet elegant aesthetic of the rest of the home. Certainly, this property has an excellent flow in terms of how each room works together.
Now, the country music star has space for guests, but as a child, she wore home-sewn clothes that her mom made from Walmart material. Oh, how far she's come!
Fit for a Fashionista
OK folks — here's where things get really good. After all, why poke around a celebrity's home if you can't see the size of their closet? This is the top tier (yes, top tier) of Carrie Underwood's closet, complete with shelving, railings, cubbies, drawers, and racks. We can't get enough!
While the "End Up With You" singer first appeared on our screens in a classic country pair of jeans, she soon evolved into a fashionista. Some of Underwood's favorite designers are Badgley Mischka and Georges Chakra.
Stairway to Heaven
Here we have a look at the amazing wooden spiral staircase that connects Carrie Underwood's dressing room to her glam lounge beneath. This angle shows some pretty pink touches on the lower level including patterned wallpaper, some decorative pillows, and a framed mirror.

Underwood's American sweetheart charm looks great in anything. She told Lucky, "I love dressing up when I'm in front of a crowd, but in my downtime, nothing beats a great pair of sweats."
A Woman's Touch
Fans of musical western Calamity Jane know that the two female leads sing a rousing tune named "A Woman's Touch" when they redecorate Calam's grubby cabin together. Now, Carrie Underwood's home is far from a cabin, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been furnished with "a woman's touch."
An embroidered table, a thick fluffy rug, ornately patterned wallpaper, and lots of light colors make this room look traditional feminine, but in a grown-up way. We'd give anything to get groomed in here.
Right by the Golf Course
This Brentwood property formally owned by Carrie Underwood is right by the golf course, so residents can enjoy gorgeous views of manicured hills and glassy ponds. This area is about 20 minutes from Nashville's city center.
We know that Underwood is a sporty gal, but we haven't seen any evidence that she likes to golf — she's more of a jump rope kind of girl. In 2015, the entertainer launched her own fitness clothing line named CALIA.
Hit Up the Game Room
Considering Carrie Underwood's sporty streak, and the fact that her husband is a professional hockey player, perhaps it's no surprise that Carrie's former home has an air hockey table. This room actually contains a small kitchen, making it a great spot to hang out and play a few games.
As well as competing in traditional sports, the "Cowboy Casanova" is an extremely athletic singer who holds notes much longer than most singers can. She admitted, "I literally hold out notes until I start seeing stars."

As most mansions do, Carrie Underwood's former Brentwood home has a gorgeous stone terrace with a fire pit. The patio furniture is black wrought iron — similar to some of the neoclassical touches throughout the home.
When it comes to celebrity pals that Underwood might invite over, there are a few prime candidates. The artist is close with Brad Paisley, with who she hosted the Country Music Awards several times, and is pals with fellow country queens Miranda Lambert and Dolly Parton.
The Scene of the Fall
Carrie Underwood fans — known as Care Bears — know that the singer experienced a devastating fall in 2017. Well, this Brentwood home is the scene of the fall, and the "Jesus, Take the Wheel" singer actually moved out because of the traumatizing episode.
The artist was taking one of her dogs outside when she fell, breaking her wrist, suffering severe cuts on her face, and chipping her teeth. In the end, the performer needed 40 stitches and was left with scars.
Carrie's First Nashville House
Before Carrie Underwood lived in this Brentwood mansion, she lived in a slightly smaller Nashville home. This is the property the young artist bought with her American Idol winnings when she was just starting out in the music industry.
This house was in a gated community of the Franklin suburb of Nashville, and had three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. As you can see in these images, the home had a stone and stucco exterior, and an attractive domed doorway.
Carrie and Mike's Forever Home
After the distressing fall that Underwood experienced at her former Brentwood mansion, she and her husband decided to design and build their forever home. The sprawling property is yet another upgrade, with what looks to be even more bedrooms and living areas than previous residences. The 1,000 acre ranch is also in Nashville, Tennessee.
Speaking with Country Living, Underwood said her must-haves were "a wood-burning fireplace, a porch swing, and rocking chairs." For a country girl, we can't say we're surprised.
Meet The Fisher Family
Underwood first met her now-husband and former NHL player, Mike Fisher, at a backstage meet and greet in 2008. They were engaged by 2009 and ultimately tied the knot in 2010.
Together, the couple has two children. Son Isaiah Michael was born in 2015, and son Jacob Bryan was born in 2019. Sadly, the couple also suffered several miscarriages.
Living in Canada
When Carrie met her future husband, Mike, she went from living in Nashville to chilling in Canada. Fisher is Canadian-American and played for the Ottawa Senators, as well as the Nashville Predators. The couple built a custom home in Ottawa, on a massive 11 acres of land. The property had five bedrooms, and even came with a chef's kitchen.
When Fisher was traded to the Nashville Predators, the pair returned to the US and settled into the Brentwood mansion.
The Awards Keep Coming
While people that aren't country fans might not know much about Carrie Underwood, the critics really sing her praises. Rolling Stone called the "Temporary Home" singer "the female vocalist of her generation of any genre," and she's been wracking up awards since her first single was released.
So far, Underwood has an impressive seven Grammy Awards, 11 Billboard Music Awards, 15 American Music Awards, a Guinness world record, and inductions into the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as the Grand Ole Opry.
Carrie's Chosen Causes
As all good celebrities should, Carrie Underwood has given back to various important causes. In 2009, the singer-songwriter established the Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation in her hometown — which helps with various issues in the local community. The foundation also gifted $120,000 worth of new musical instruments to the town.
As a vegetarian and animal lover, Underwood is a supporter of several animal organizations. She has also been outspoken about her support for equal marriage and the LGBTQ+ community.
Life as a Family
The Underwood-Fisher family includes two little boys who are sure to make their home less organized than the "Something in the Water" singer would like.
